5 TOP MUST SEE ATTRACTIONS IN OHIO’S AMISH COUNTRY
1) Visit Behalt, it is a different kind of attraction in Holmes County… you’ll learn so much at the cyclorama mural, called Behalt. It shows the beginning of the Amish and Mennonite faiths upon which Amish Country started.
This will give you good insight into the people and their religion and belief system.
Behalt, in our opinion, should be your first stop and you will be taken on a short 25-minute tour of anabaptist history with your Amish tour guide. Your guide will answer your questions and help you understand this simple lifestyle and the beautiful faith-filled people. Even your children will be entertained as it's a nice short stop packed with rich information and a lot to look at.

#2 Hershberger's Farm and Bakery
Ok. This is by far one of the best bakeries anywhere in Holmes County, Ohio. Every time I go to Amish Country the fry pies call me in…it just happens. If you've never had a fry pie, then you have no idea what delicious Amish baking you're missing! Yes, they have all of the other stuff you'd expect to get at a bakery.
The farm itself is very impressive, but when you combine it with the decadent richness of bakery items you'll wonder why you didn't get there sooner.
Ohio’s Amish country offers many unique experiences and moments; however, there is no other stop in Holmes County quite like Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery in Millersburg. You’ll find the farm situated right off State Route 557, one of Ohio’s most beautiful scenic by-ways.
